| Throwback to the opening event of Salon Suisse: s l o w at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia last May 2019.
The Salon Suisse offers a series of performances, talks and cultural events supplementing the exhibition at the Swiss Pavilion. The 2019 programme engaged with slowness and art bringing together a diverse array of artists, art historians, performers, musicians, cooks, choreographers, medical doctors and others for a participatory programme which included meditation, tea ceremony, gardening, lectures and yoga. Participating artists included Hamish Fulton, Isabel Lewis, Catherine Contour, Vidya Gastaldon, Jérémie Gindre, Kimsooja, Clemens Klopfenstein, Robin Michel, Eric Philippoz and Marie Velardi. |
