General Information
The 56th International Art Exhibition takes place in Venice from 9 May to 22 November 2015 at the Giardini and at the Arsenale as well as at various venues in the city. The main exhibition is curated by Okwui Enwezor.

Pamela Rosenkranz has been nominated by the Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia to exhibit at the Pavilion of Switzerland in the Giardini della Biennale. Her exhibition entitled Our Product is curated by Susanne Pfeffer, director of the Fridericianum in Kassel.

Dada specialists Juri Steiner and Stefan Zweifel are the curators of the «Salon Suisse» 2015, a programme of talks and events supplementing the exhibition at the Swiss Pavilion, which takes place at the Palazzo Trevisan degli Ulivi.

4 to 6 June 2015: «Collective Experiments»

A detailed programme of the «Salon Suisse» events will be published one week prior to each weekend on this website.

On five weekends over the course of the Biennale the events program «Salon Suisse», initiated by the Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia and organized by the Dada-specialists Juri Steiner and Stefan Zweifel is taking place at the Palazzo Trevisan degli Ulivi offering a platform for exchange on contemporary art and thought in a relaxed atmosphere. For this year’s «Salon» entitled «S.O.S. DADA – The World Is A Mess» Steiner and Zweifel invite their guests from all over the world to discuss the cross-epochal force and the timelessness of Dada. All events are free of admission and open to everyone.

The opening event takes place on 9 May at 11am outdoors in front of the Palazzo Trevisan and is accompanied by a brunch.

In a spiritual night session at 10 pm together with Manifesta 11 the Salonniers will collect spontaneous messages in a bottle.
